Our themes are based on key Christian festivals, stories or events - or on issues such as fairtrade or discipleship.  See below for the themes we're covering in 2010.

FEB: Lent — looking at Lent’s origins and why we might choose to do something special at this time.

MAR: Mothering Sunday — celebrating this popular day and suggesting ways to appreciate our mothers.

APR: Easter — following the dramatic events of the days leading up to Easter.

MAY: Christian Aid — supporting the Christian Aid appeal week and looking at how such charities can change lives.

JUN: The Apostles — investigating the group of 12 people who Jesus chose as his closest followers.

JUL: Prayer — asking just what prayer is, how you do it and why.

AUG: no issue of TAKE THIS in August

SEP: The life of Joseph — telling the colourful story of Joseph and looking at why we still read Old Testament Bible stories now.

OCT: Harvest and hunger — both celebrating the Harvest Festival and appreciating that many people go hungry.

NOV: Saints and martyrs — looking at what we can learn from the lives of some inspirational people.

DEC: Christmas — celebrating everyone’s favourite festival and asking what makes a good Christmas.

Costs:

We produce TAKE THIS in Christian service, not for profit, and we're keen to share it widely so that as many children as possible can benefit from it.
